Adam + Megan: A Beautiful Fall Wedding - Paper Goods by Inkerry Cards, Photography by Clary Pfeiffer

Everyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I love custom designs. The chance to create something outside of my day-to-day designs and help bring something to life that the customer is envisioning is one of my very favorite things. So when I was asked by bride-to-be Megan to help design the paper goods for her upcoming wedding, I was more than excited to help. Megan and Adam were getting married in the Fall and her co-worker who I had designed for in the past, referred her to me to help her pull together all of the paper designs she was needing for her big day. I was more than excited to design the menu, program, place cards, table numbers, candy buffet sign and labels, and out-of-town welcome box stickers for this amazing event. Megan had great ideas for what she was looking for in her paper goods and I was delighted to work with her to help bring them to life. More on the paper in a moment... the wedding day details first. :)

Adam & Megan's wedding ceremony was held at the beautiful Shrine of St. Joseph in St. Louis, and the reception followed at the amazing Palladium St. Louis. Megan's theme included a modern Fall leaf design as an accent throughout the day, seen everywhere from the arrangements, the reception decor, the cake and even the lighting on the dance floor. Megan mixed beautiful and warm fall colors with accents of vibrant colors of deep eggplant and rich purple, and the end result was nothing short of amazing! When Megan sent me the photos from the wedding day, I was so in love with everything I saw! The photos are absolutely gorgeous, photographed by the wonderfully talented Clary Pfeiffer of Clary Pfeiffer Photography. Clary's amazing photographs truly tell the story of how absolutely beautiful and full of love Adam and Megan's wedding day really was. So while I of course want to share the photos of the paper products I loved designing, I also must share some of my other favorite photos from Clary that truly capture the beauty of Megan & Adam's spectacular wedding day.

One fun flyer for one really great organization!

I was so happy to help out and design this flyer for the Hearts of Gold organization in NYC recently! National Clean Out Your Closet Week starts today, March 13th. If you are in the NYC or surrounding area, get organized during this week and donate to Hearts of Gold's resale boutique, The Thrifty Hog in Chelsea, where all donations go to support homeless mothers and children in the New York City area.  Read more about The Thrifty Hog boutique and Hearts of Gold on their website: www.heartsofgold.org, or check out their Facebook page for more info about the National Clean Out Your Closet Week drive and The Thifty Hog, located at 11 West 25th Street, between Broadway and 6th Avenue. If you are not in the NYC area, it is still a great week to do some spring cleaning and organizing and take your donations to your own local, charitable thrift stores.

Stay tuned this week for some gorgeous wedding photos from a recent wedding I just loved designing the paper goods for! These photos are beautiful and I cannot wait to share!

Have a great week!

An Adorable Winter Pool Party Bash!

I was so excited to be asked again to design a custom invitation & favor tags for a wonderful customer of mine - this time in a bright and fun pool party theme! Jennifer’s little girl Kaitlyn turned 5 in February, and the winter season didn’t stop them from enjoying a favorite summer time theme – a pool party! Kaitlyn’s party was held at an indoor pool, where she and her friends enjoyed a day full of splashing fun and games! Jennifer always creates the cutest parties for her girls (in the past I've helped her with invitations & party goodies for a pretty Pinkalicious birthday and a Hopping Froggy party!) and this one was no exception. From the delivery of the invitations (each guest received the invite with a pair of flip flops), to the treats (friends look-a-like swimming girl cupcakes, colorful fish cupcakes and flip flop cookies) and favors (cute summer sunglasses), Jenn created a festive, colorful, pool party for Kaitlyn, who I am positive will remember this fun birthday for years to come. Below are some photos of the invitation and favor tags I designed, and some other adorable photos from the party that I had to share! Jenn did a fabulous job on Kait's 5th birthday pool party bash!
The invitation I designed for Jenn. She delivered each one with a pair of flip flops! Love this idea!

Flip Flop Cookies & Umbrella Drinks
Kait's mom Jenn made these CUTE swimming girl cupcakes to resemble Kait and each of her friends! Adorable!!

I love these fish cupcakes! She had them in purple, pink and aqua.
The birthday girl, Kait, looking so happy with her birthday cupcake! Happy Birthday Kait!

So, designing this invitation and favor tag for Jenn really must have put me in the mood for some summer parties, because in the days after I designed this for her, I designed about 10 new kids party invitations, most of which are in a summer theme (think beach & crab theme, lemonade and ice cream!)... I will post more about all of my new designs soon, but in the mean time you can view them all, along with this Flip Flop Pool Party Bash invitation in my shop, here

Have a great week!
