Loving my blog & site visitors!

Just a quick note to say I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and holiday celebration! I know I did and I'm looking forward to a wonderful 2011, with so many exciting developments for Inkberry and all of my sites to come in the new year! As busy as I get every single day, I never forget to check my stats to see my site visitors from all over the WORLD! It's truly interesting to see how far my designs reach, and it is part of what I love so much about being a designer and doing what I do. Even based in Virginia, I'm able to create custom designs for anyone, anywhere! And I love this blog because it is an easy way for me to keep my true fans, friends, customers and biggest supporters updated on all the latest news with Inkberry. I have seen many recurring visits lately, from many recognizable locations and computers not just on my blog, but my website as well. Typically I love this, when I know it is a customer or fan coming to see their designs posted, or order matching items, or just checking in to say hi or tell me about an upcoming event they are starting to plan. I truly love my fans, customers and friends and am looking forward to an awesome 2011, filled with fun new items, announcements, changes and more!

Fabulous Fall Ball Photos by Allison Curti Photography

Earlier this month, we finished up my son's first season of T-Ball and were lucky enough to have a professional photographer mom among us, Allison Curti, to take the end of season team photos! Here are just a few of the awesome, super cute photos Allison took for us! My favorite are the shots that were not your typical team photos, many of which she took while the kids were just playing together in between their individual photo sessions. I loved how she was able to capture the kids in action, having fun and being the adorable 5 year olds they are!! These are just a few examples of the great memories she captured for all of us.

Throw a Totally Cute Turtle Party Shell-a-bration!

I recently designed an invitation for Erika for her son Reid's first birthday party. His party is a turtle theme, so she went with our Mod Turtle First Birthday invitation, in the traditional blue, green and orange color scheme. The photo of Reid that she sent in for the invitation could not have been more perfect for this invitation...take a look! So cute!

Take a Peek at our 2010 Holiday Card Designs!

I'm really excited that all of my new holiday card designs are up on both www.inkberrycards.com and Snapfish now! I think this year's designs are a great balance of traditional color schemes, as well as some modern, fun, non-traditional color schemes such as brown, pink, aqua and lime green! Who says holiday cards have to always be red and green? What's great about your Christmas or Holiday card color scheme is if you order through www.inkberrycards.com, any card design can be changed to any color scheme you'd like! So if you see a design you like but you think you want to try something different with the colors, just indicate that with your order and I will be happy to change it for you!

Trick or Treat: Halloween Time is in the Air!

I love Fall and I'm so excited about the new cool weather, my son's Fall t-ball games, and decorating/planning for Halloween and the coming holidays! This is by far my favorite time of the year, leading up to my very close, runner-up favorite time of the year: Christmas of course! I've been busy working on a few really big projects, and I'm still working on all of my new holiday cards for 2010 - all of which will be available very soon! I have some big, exciting news that I will share very soon about my designs, so stay tuned! In the mean time, check out this cute, new Halloween card available now in my shop. :)

Inkberry Cards Ten Tiny Birth Announcement Featured on Invitation Buzz!

I was so excited this week to receive an email from Heather at Invitation Buzz saying one of my birth announcements had been featured in the Buzzworthy section of their website! The Buzzworthy theme of the day centered around beautiful designs in red, titled Thoughts of Red With All the Maine Apple Picking Sightings. I was thrilled to see my Ten Tiny birth announcement in the company of such beautiful letterpress invitations and cards. It was an honor! Check it out!

Featured Customer Party: Hot Pink and Zebra Princess Party!

I have been meaning to post these adorable, customer party photos all summer long! I'm so excited to finally post them and share this adorable customer party with everyone. I hope you all enjoy!! :)

Earlier this summer, I was contacted by Tawny of Princess & Pirate Tales blog, to design some custom cupcake toppers and tags for her little girl Samantha’s 3rd birthday! She was interested in my hot pink and zebra design, but also wanted some princess elements added in to match her unique party theme. I was happy to put some custom designs together just for her, to help decorate her special day!

Tawny sent me the photos from her party, and she did such an awesome job with the entire party, that I had to share her pics! It is the cutest zebra princess party I have seen, so I had to share! I know her little girl Samantha had a fabulous time, and I am positive the event was definitely a birthday she will remember for years to come!

Below are just a few photos from the party that show the cupcake toppers, tags and decorations that I designed for her, but everything Tawny put together for the party was amazing! Tawny had fun costumes for the party guests to try on and play in. Such a cute idea! She created a sign, decorated with two of the party tag designs, that told the guests to have fun trying on and playing in their favorite costume of choice.
